We specialize in the sale of audio records from the 50�s, 60�s, and 70�s, and also offer custom �one off� CD restoration services.</p> <p class="text"> I was born in the UK, and spent my teenage years playing in a band and listening to early American rock & roll. My main heroes from that era were Elvis (of course), Little Richard, Bill Haley, Gene Vincent, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, and Eddie Cochran (plus others too numerous to mention) Despite becoming interested in many other types of music since then, pop music from those early years has stayed with me all my life.</p> <p class="text"> I am presently dismantling my 3rd record collection. I often reflect how well off (musically) I would have been if I had kept my first collection of 45�s and LP�s by the above artists. Anyhow, I got married instead, and immigrated to Canada in 1965. At present my wife of 38 years and I are enjoying a wonderful retirement in Sechelt on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada.</p> <p class="text"> In the 1990�s I became interested in applying the computer to digital audio recording and gradually developed a professional and reliable technique for restoring and transferring the best of my current audio collection onto noise free CD format. This has led to the last (and final?) collection of vinyl becoming available for sale.</p> <p class="text">Our aim at Good Sounds is to provide sales and services at competitive rates, with computerized mail ordering. At present, my family is involved in the business part time.
