| I have been in business making furniture since 1989 and have been producing speculative work and custom
projects full time since then. My speculative work tends to be whimsical and many of my customers request such designs. I
mainly choose traditional joinery for durability, but do like breaking the rules on occasion in order to create something
beautiful. I love both colouring wood and preserving its natural qualities with clear finishes. My work has been on display at
numerous galleries in Vancouver, Victoria and the Sunshine Coast.
Being a custom woodworker and appreciative of numerous design styles, I have had the opportunity to work with many different
styles of furniture such as arts and crafts, french country, modern (my personal favourite), biedermeyer, shoji, and on and
on. I work from my home in Roberts Creek where I live with my wife and two daughters. |
